This scheme involved the extensive refurbishment of an existing six story office block in the heart of Leeds.The brief demanded that we create very high quality open plan office space, both to lease and to form new offices including feature reception and meeting rooms.
The building was stripped back to its bare structure and refurbished from basement level up. Basement level formed a car park â€“ an essential feature for a city center office.
Ground and first floor levels were devoted to creating offices and an outstanding reception with adjacent meeting rooms. A new level entrance was also formed using glazed entrance doors with stainless steel frames. A matching entrance canopy added impact to the entranceâ€™s street setting.
Second, third and fourth floor levels were refurbished to form high quality open plan office space for possible future sub-division. The existing entrance was refurbished, again, using glazed entrance doors with stainless steel frames.
